TETE D’AVAL

The Tete d’Aval (which translates to Head of Goat) is a little known climbing area in the Briançon region of Southern France, near the village of Vignieux. We did two different multi-pitch climbs on this large complicated formation. Here Chip Chace follows one of the crux pitches, some kind of 5.11, on perfect limestone.
