1969: THE WISDOM, ELDORADO CANYON

Looking down at my brother, Bill, following the wildly overhanging second pitch of The Wisdom, a Kor test-piece in Eldorado. The photo captures nicely what “aid climbing” means. This pitch now goes free at intimidating 11d/12a and was one of my favorites in the Canyon back when I could climb it.
