C’EST LA VIE OVERHANG

This is my brother, Bill, in 1974 leading the very run-out direct finish to the C’est La Vie dihedral. This was another bold lead established by Henry Barber on his 1973 trip to Boulder. It’s 5.10b pulling the overhang, then easier above, but a fall here would be disastrous.
