THE GUNKS CREW

In October a few years ago, five of us flew out to New York for three days of climbing in the Gunks to celebrate Jim’s 60th birthday. We stayed at the Mohonk Mountain House, and local legend Russ Clune met us each day and took us to all the best places. Each evening we had dinner together in the huge dining room and swapped outrageous tales. Jim and Pat won first prize and I got sore abs from laughing so hard.
