Chip started leading this pitch but got spooked with the run-outs and polished rock. So he lowered off and I tied in. I was a bit more in my comfort zone and struggled my way up the pitch, which ended in a traverse right, making for this nice photo. We felt the 5.10b rating was a definite sandbag, but they are lurking everywhere in Tuolumne.
