FIRST VIEW

Chip and I were headed for the Deep Lake Cirque where thousand foot walls are everywhere. After about 5 miles we reached Big Sandy Lake where you get the first inkling of what lies ahead. In this image the tips of Steeple Peak and East Temple Peak are visible.
