CHIP, PELE, AND THE VIEW OF EAST TEMPLE PEAK FROM CAMP

This is the view from our camp at Deep Lake. Every evening we enjoyed this view of East Temple Peak as the sun set. This beautiful 1000-foot wall has only one route up the center (The Chouinard Route) and one route up the left edge, which we did. Otherwise it’s untouched, like so much rock in the Wind Rivers.
